On the 11th and 12th of September, with the approval of the Commander of the Special Operations Forces, Maj. Gen. Jaroslav Krám, a professional-methodological training of the Special Operations Forces Command psychologists with the psychologists of the directly subordinated units: the 5th Special Forces Command, the 51st Training Base and the 57th Separate Detachment took place in the premises of the 5th Special Forces Command.
      The purpose of the engagement was to standardize practices and processes, share best practices and lessons learned in the key roles of SOF psychologists, with a focus on personnel selection, training, and future direction. As SOF capabilities evolve, so do the roles of SOF psychologists, particularly in supporting kinetic and non-kinetic elements of the unity of effort. Given the current knowledge and 'lessons learned' of the foreign partners, mental resilience and adaptability is emerging as one of the most important elements that should be translated into the training of own personnel as well as new personnel.
